Compare with a sweater you already enjoy wearing
Lay a similar garment flat without stretching it. Compare chest width, body length and sleeve length using the same measuring points as the product information. Body measurements and garment measurements are not interchangeable; a flat chest width is not a body chest circumference.
Ask for measurements for the exact model when these are not provided. A general conversion chart cannot establish the fit of every design. Sleeve measurements starting at the shoulder cannot be compared directly with measurements starting at the centre back of the neck.
Try the intended base layer and assess the neckline, chest, sleeves and hem separately. If you are between sizes, compare the proportions rather than automatically choosing the smaller or larger option. Do not rely on shrinking or stretching to correct the fit.

How to measure your reference sweater
Choose a sweater with a similar weight and intended silhouette. Fasten any buttons or zip and lay it flat without stretching.
- Chest width: measure straight across just below the armholes. Record this as a flat width, not a body measurement.
- Body length: measure from the high shoulder point beside the neck to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve length: note your start point. A shoulder-seam measurement and a centre-back-neck measurement are different methods.
- Shoulders: for set-in sleeves, measure between shoulder seams across the back. Raglan and dropped-shoulder designs need a different comparison.
- Hem width: measure the relaxed bottom edge without stretching the ribbing.
Check the fit in movement
Try the intended shirt or T-shirt underneath. Sit down, reach forward and bend your arms. Check the neckline, chest, sleeves and hem separately. Body proportions and trouser rise affect the result as well as height.

If finished-garment measurements are not shown for the model you are considering, contact Subellotti before ordering. Include the product and size, your preferred fit and the measurements of your reference sweater. Measurements for one model should not be assumed to apply to every garment.

The warm Latte tone works easily with tailoring, denim and relaxed trousers.

Best Fit Guarantee
If a made-to-measure garment does not correspond to the measurements confirmed in writing, we will remake it once at no additional product cost. Contact us within 30 days of delivery. The garment must be unworn apart from trying it on, unwashed, unaltered and returned with its original labels and packaging.
The guarantee does not apply when incorrect measurements were supplied or approved, when the customer's measurements changed after confirmation, when the requested fit was delivered as agreed, or when the garment was altered, washed, damaged or worn.
Returns
Standard-size garments follow our Return & Refund Policy. Made-to-measure pieces are produced specifically for you and are not eligible for a standard change-of-mind return. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Care & Maintenance
Allow cashmere to rest between wears so the fibres can recover, and wash only when necessary. Always follow the garment care label.
Hand wash separately in cold water or use a gentle wool programme with a small amount of mild cashmere or wool detergent. Do not bleach, soak, rub, wring or tumble dry.
Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a clean towel and pressing gently. Reshape and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight. Store clean, completely dry and folded in a sealed garment bag or storage box.
Clothes moths: inspect stored cashmere periodically for small holes, webbing or larvae. Cedar and moth traps can support prevention but do not replace clean, closed storage.
