Subellotti is an independent menswear house with Italian roots and a global point of view. We create garments for men who choose quality over quantity, substance over attention and lasting relevance over passing trends.

We believe the experience of a garment begins before anyone else sees it. It starts with the material against your skin, the way the piece sits on your shoulders and moves with your body, and the feeling that comes when the fit feels right.

Clothing cannot promise confidence or success. But thoughtful material, fit and comfort can help a man feel composed, comfortable and ready for the moments that matter.

Selected Across Italy

Subellotti is not tied to a single mill or yarn producer. We select fibres, yarns and fabrics from leading Italian producers according to what best serves each garment. Cashmere, fine wool, cotton, silk and other exceptional materials are considered for their softness, handle, structure, weight and drape.

The material follows the garment, not the other way around.

Quality you can understand

A fibre composition is only the beginning. Two garments can carry the same composition and still differ considerably in fibre quality, yarn, weight, construction, finishing, fit and the way they feel when worn.

We prefer to show what goes into a Subellotti piece rather than ask you to accept a luxury label. Product-specific details such as composition, yarn maker, ply, gauge, weight, construction and finishing are stated only when they are known and verifiable for that garment.

Considered production

Subellotti is not built around mass production. We favour considered Italian production and limited quantities. Where appropriate, a piece or selected size can be produced in Italy for an order rather than produced in unnecessary volume.

This approach keeps attention on the garment itself: its material, construction, fit, finishing and final inspection.

Fit, feel and presence

Material and craftsmanship are not the final purpose. What matters is the experience they create when the garment is worn: softness against the skin, comfort over time, the balance of the silhouette and the way the piece moves with the body.

Our idea of luxury is quiet presence. Clothing that does not need to shout for attention, designed for men who want to feel well dressed without looking as though they are trying too hard.
