Preserving the quality of your Subellotti garment
Each Subellotti piece is crafted in Italy using carefully selected natural materials. Proper care is essential to maintain its shape, softness, and refined appearance over time.

Wearing

  • Allow your knitwear to air out after wearing
  • Avoid wearing the same item on consecutive days
  • Keep away from rough surfaces and sharp accessories
  • Use a cashmere comb gently to remove light pilling. Never pull fibers

Washing

  • Hand wash

    • Cold water, maximum 20°C
    • Use a mild wool or cashmere detergent
    • Do not rub, twist, or wring
    • Rinse gently
    • Roll the garment in a towel to remove excess water

  • Machine wash

    • Wool or hand wash program
    • Maximum 20°C
    • Low spin speed
    • Always place the garment in a laundry bag

Ironing & steaming

  • Never tumble dry
  • Never hang to dry
  • Lay flat on a towel, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Drying

  • Steaming is preferred
  • Iron only if necessary, on low temperature
  • Always iron inside out

Storage

  • Store folded, never on a hanger
  • Use a breathable garment bag when possible
  • Cedar wood is recommended to protect against moths
  • Keep in a cool, dry place

For stubborn stains or when in doubt, we recommend professional dry cleaning by a specialist experienced with luxury knitwear.
