Subellotti pieces are made from premium natural fibres. With the right care, they keep their softness, shape and refined appearance for years.
1. Cashmere Care
- Wash by hand in cold water or use a delicate wool programme.
- Use a mild wool or cashmere detergent.
- Do not use bleach.
- Do not wring.
- Dry flat on a towel, away from direct heat or sunlight.
2. Merino & Wool Care
- Air after wearing.
- Wash only when needed.
- Use a gentle wool programme or hand wash.
- Dry flat to protect the shape.
3. Cotton & T-Shirts
- Wash inside out at low temperature.
- Avoid tumble drying.
- Iron inside out if needed.
4. Storage
- Fold knitwear instead of hanging it.
- Store in a dry place.
- Use cedar wood or natural moth protection for cashmere and wool.
5. Pilling
- Light pilling is normal with natural fibres.
- Remove carefully with a cashmere comb or fabric shaver.
6. Moth Prevention & Early Action
Natural fibres should be stored with the same care with which they are worn. Regular inspection and clean, closed storage offer the most dependable protection.
- Check garments occasionally for small holes, fine webbing, shed skins or larvae.
- Store garments only when they are clean and completely dry.
- Fold knitwear and place it in a well-sealed garment bag or closed storage box.
- Immediately isolate any garment that shows suspicious signs.
- Empty, clean and thoroughly vacuum the wardrobe, drawers and nearby crevices.
- Use cedar and moth traps only as additional preventive measures; they do not replace cleaning, inspection and closed storage.
If activity is suspected, inspect nearby natural-fibre garments as well and follow the garment care label before washing, freezing or arranging professional treatment.
